School Tutoring Enrolment Fee

To secure your trial session, a deposit of $50 is required. This deposit will be applied to your invoice if you choose to continue with our services.

In the event that you decide not to proceed after the trial session, the deposit will be fully refunded.

Terms and Conditions

Fees and payment

Payment must be made in full by Friday 2 weeks before the new term starts; to book for the duration of the next term. Any enrolments after this time are not guaranteed to start in the next term and you may be placed on the waiting list for the successive term. 

Admin fee and assessments

An non -refundable admin fee of $50 is paid for prior to an initial assessment (if an assessment is required). Upon tuition commencement, this fee will be waived. If tuition is not commenced- this fee will be non refundable. 

Attendance

Children are expected to attend all their weekly sessions during the scheduled time and day in which they have been enrolled in. The minimum enrolment period is ONE complete term and disenrolments cannot be made during this period, nor will refunds be given under ANY circumstance. Students are not permitted to change scheduled session classes for the duration of the term once their enrolment is completed.

Refund Policy/ Outstanding payments

No credits or refunds will be provided under any circumstances. Any outstanding payments after the due date will incur admin charges of 5% per week – any unpaid amounts will be provided to a debt collection company and all fees, costs, charges and commission will be paid by you the customer/client.

Commitment

Upon the student enrolling and receiving your invoice, you are required to make full payment for one complete academic term before the first week of that term.

Behaviour

Bright Minds staff reserve the right to call parents and ask for children to leave if they are engaging in inappropriate behaviour. Any child that conducts themselves in a disruptive manner towards other children or staff may be suspended from further sessions. We reserve the right to cancel a student’s enrolment with no refund or credit if inappropriate behaviour persists.

Absenteeism

There is a MAXIMUM of 3 days cancellation per academic term, 24 hours notice must be given prior to cancellation, and a medical certificate will be required. Make up lessons will be organised during that week or school holidays. Classes will not be carried onto the next term.

Personal Information

All personal details are kept confidential, changes to such information must be provided as soon as possible. Inaccurate or incomplete information being provided intentionally may result in the non-acceptance of an enrolment or cancellation of an existing enrolment.

Illness, Accident and Emergency Treatment Consent

In the instance of unforeseen accidents/illnesses, Bright Minds requests permission for urgent medical care by a doctor or an ambulance for your child whilst every possible effort will be made to contact the parents of the child.

External Examination Results

We requests that our students provide school examination and assessment results, HSC results and photographs by phone, email or online surveys.
